Mascot Diecasters Ltd. (M.D.L.) has built its dominant position as one of the leading pressure diecasters in the Australasion region since its founding in 1939.

The company is based in Auckland, New Zealand and currently employs 140 staff.

M.D.L. has both QS 9000 quality standard and ISO 9001.  The company was one of the first Australasian companies to obtain ISO 9001 and  is one of only a few companies in New Zealand to be accredited to QS 9000.

M.D.L. has a fine reputation as a quality supplier, exporting 90% of total production to Australia, North America and Europe. A high proportion of export and domestic customers are supplied on a Just in Time basis, with much of the product supplied directly to the assembly lines.

Over 40 products are supplied to OEM companies.

M.D.L. is now established as a supplier of precision machined castings to both automotive and non-automotive customers.  The company has invested in new Diecasting cells, Central melt furnace, CNC machining cells, production vibratory finishing and shot blasting cells.
